What We Publish & Steward
Scholarly, Research & Creative Works
We publish scholarship, research, poetry, prose, essays, and other creative works that support study, teaching, reflection, organizing, and institution-building within Afrikan communities.
Our titles draw from Afrikan ways of knowing and engage histories, cultures, imaginations, educational work, and collective life across Africa and the Afrikan Diaspora.
We work with scholars, community-based researchers, educators, scholar-activists, practitioners, poets, writers, artists, and independent intellectuals whose work grows through accountable relationships with the people, places, and traditions it engages.

Educational Praxis
We develop pedagogical resources that bring Afrikan ways of knowing into sustained educational practice. Our work supports Liberation Schools, including Independent Schools; African Studies and Africana Studies programs; and professional organizations strengthening their training, learning, and institutional culture.
Through curricula, teaching guides, workshop manuals, and facilitated learning experiences, we translate complex Afrikan concepts into clear, actionable materials for classrooms, community learning spaces, and professional development.
